Addison Marie and Charlotte Sofia | Professional Twin Photographer

Oh my… Have you ever seen anything more precious than these beautiful twin girls? If you’ve been keeping up with my blog, you know that over the years I’ve developed a specialty in photographing twins. Who knew that could be a specialty or that so many multiples are born each year?! Nevertheless, I LOVE doing it, as a mother of twins myself. Siblings who share the womb seem to have some kind of supernatural bond (evident even at birth), and I really enjoy finding ways to capture it through photography. Since Addison and Charlotte (or Addie and Charlie for short) are sisters, I have a feeling their bond will grow even stronger with time. But I certainly cannot leave out their older brother! He was in on their newborn shoot, too, and he is just the sweetest, most attentive big brother. It’s easy to see that he is already so enamored with his baby sisters, and they feel right at home snuggled into his arms. They snoozed away peacefully by his side, while he grinned a handsome smile. That picture is easily one of my favorites from this session.

Trying to Contain My Excitement

I tried not to get too carried away, but it was hard to reel in my creative ideas for this session. The girls were such perfect models! I used several different floral patterns and lots of delicate, soft textures for these sleeping beauties (who didn’t make a peep as we changed positions and backdrops). I like to give parents plenty of variety in their newborn sessions to use for albums, nurseries, frames, or stationary. So, I mixed it up with some classic, neutral-colored portraits as well as some colorful and cute themes. As a newborn photographer, I always enjoy dressing babies up in adorable costumes or seasonal themes (per the parents’ requests). Some of my favorites from this session are of the little girls sleeping in heart wreaths hanging from a tree bough. So cute for Valentine’s Day cards that double as birth announcements! Addie and Charlie are too cute for words, and I loved capturing memories for this dear family.

Are you expecting twins or multiples, or are you looking to update some sibling portraits? I’m your girl for photography! I’d love to help you capture those special sibling bonds through whimsical yet timeless imagery. Reach out and let me know what you have in mind. I can’t wait to help you fulfill your photography vision!
