Dina's First Birthday Bash!
Dina's mom, Bajan, chose light pink and gold colors for the cake smash! They purchased these gorgeous cupcakes from our famous cupcake shop here in Georgetown! These chocolate cupcakes were topped with the most realistic looking pink flowers, and they were almost too pretty to eat….almost!!! Dina wasn’t so sure about these sugary treats at first, but it didn’t take her long to figure out that they were all hers.
I could tell that she was having so much fun, and I was able to capture her beautiful smile! She was so fascinated by all of the girly props around her! Each accessory really complimented her bubbly personality! I think that this princess’s favorite one was the crown of course! Just look at the expression of pure joy on her face when she looked up to her parents off camera. I think that look is one of the best parts of parenthood. For a while, you are their everything. Their sun and moon. So much love and strength is developed in this first year, and I am blessed to be able to capture it!
Witnessing and Documenting Sweet Love
I truly enjoyed spending the day with this sweet family and getting to know them! The love that they all have for one another just filled up the entire room, and you couldn’t help but smile! We all enjoyed watching their baby girl laugh and play. This is what makes my job so great is that I have a chance to create beautiful memories for families to look back on for many years to come. After I got done taking many individual shots, I decided it was time for some family photos! This is where the real magic began! I can already imagine these being framed all around their house and filling up their photo albums. I hope to see this family again soon for an updated family portrait session!
