Happy 2nd Birthday to sweet Nadia! I couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate than with a fun birthday photo session! This cutie pie visited my studio last year for her 1st year birthday session. So I was so excited to get to see her again. It is always such a joy to see how much these kiddos grow in their first few years of life, and the best part is watching them develop their own interests and learning new things. Friends Joining the Party
I was surprised when Nadia brought in her new best friend to join our party… her big pink teddy bear! Mom said that there was no way she would do the session without him, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I think it is going to be so special to be able to look back at these images one day and remember all of the times that she dragged this big bear around the house! These are the types of memories that I love being able to capture for forever.
Big Brown Eyes
During the session, I wanted to focus in on her gorgeous facial features, especially those big brown eyes that just stole my heart right away! After a few serious poses, me and mom got her to laughing by making silly face and tickling her tummy. Moms warned me that she is very ticklish, and oh boy was she right about that! This made for the cutest images and really highlighted her bubbly personality. We incorporated tons of bright colors and flowers into this session in order to show off her girly side; Nadia absolutely loved it and was mesmerized!
After all of the bright colors and flowers, mom requested that we take a few Christmas images, so she would send them out to family memories this season. I loved this idea because I know it always puts a big smile on my face each year to receive Christmas cards full of pictures of families and friends. Nadia had on a gorgeous red and white dress, and you could tell that she felt so grown up in this outfit. She posed perfectly in front of my Christmas Farm backdrop, and showed off that big smile of hers. I know that everyone will hold these images close to their hearts for years to come!
