This beautiful family was a pleasure to work with and the little girls, Tessa and Nika were so beautiful. I brought my portable studio with backdrops, props, and dresses and accessories for the kids with me to this home shoot. We had a lot of fun dressing up and accessorizing, and their photos turned out absolutely beautiful! Keepsakes of Love
I had a great time on this home session documenting this family as they just bought their new townhouse in Vienna, Virginia. This was a lovely location for their shoot. It was a great space to set up my backdrops, as well as a beautiful home to use the indoor and outdoor spaces of the home itself. The photos of mom, Katya, and her girls together are really sweet. I love that we used one of the rooms of their home to capture their family photo, with mom, dad, and the little girls. This is where they will live, work, play and grow together and it is a brand new space to them. This session is one of the first memories in a long line of special moments this home is sure to see.
The patio of the home was truly lovely and had a pretty, natural backdrop for some outdoor images of Katya. She looked absolutely stunning in her blue dress. You would never guess that she just had a baby! The family's nanny was there and I was so glad to have her help. She was great with posing the kids and has a photographic eye. She's been with the family for the last year, but is leaving the country now and will be very missed by the family. Katya asked for a picture of her with the girls for them to remember her by. This was a sweet sentiment and I was happy to oblige the request.
Flower Crowns for the Little Princesses
These girls were absolutely adorable and great little models. They were full of expression and had a great time changing into different outfits and accessories. I especially love the pictures we got of each of them in the bright colors and flower crowns. They are so precious!
