It was so good to see this sweet family again! Two years ago, I distinctly remember Min coming in with her handsome baby boy, Ehan. Min looked so happy and excited for her son’s newborn session, and he slept soundly I photographed him snuggled up next to a big teddy bear and positioned him among different sets. Now, that baby boy has grown into a playful two-year-old! This time, it was his brand-new baby sister’s turn in the spotlight. Min brought baby Ena into my studio at exactly two weeks old for her newborn session. Just like her brother a couple years before, she happily drifted off to dreamland as I captured her in several whimsical sets. Mom and I thought it would be fun to use a couple of the same sets and props that we used two years ago for Ehan, so you can check out each of their teddy bear and cotton branch photos below – it’s so fun to look at them side-by-side. It’s easy to see that they strongly resemble each other, but they also have their own distinct little features.
For the rest of the photos, we incorporated lots of delicate florals and soft pastels. I really like the photo of Ena sleeping soundly in the lavender patch. It looks so serene and peaceful, and the violet hues look so gorgeous with her complexion.
After Ena’s personalized newborn images, we asked her big brother Ehan to join in the photoshoot. In true little boy fashion, he wasn’t all that enthused about having his photo taken. He’s still warming up to his little sister, but he did humor us with a couple super cute sibling photos. And we also made sure to get a precious mother and daughter photo, too. I love their matching floral headbands! They both look beautiful in this photo as Min gently embraced her baby girl. Ena’s face immediately relaxed – Mom’s arms are where she feels most content.
I really enjoyed seeing this lovely family again, and it was such a pleasure to document these photos for them. My, how Ehan has grown, and Ena is so precious! Since these two are so close in age, I’m sure they will have such a special sibling bond. I’m sure they will keep Mom and Dad very busy once they both start running around.
