Jen and Ryan are expecting a baby boy very soon, and they needed some photos to document such a special time in their lives. This couple is such a beautiful pair of people. Not only are they super kind and fun to be around, but they are naturals in front of the camera, making my job easy! Jen told me they have very few formal photos, alone or together. The only photos they have are wedding pictures - and they've been together for nearly 12 years! These two are what you would call “busy bees.” They are constantly busy, as they run a martial arts studio. Most of the casual pics they have are in training clothes and usually in groups with other people. It was definitely time to capture the love that they share, along with the anticipation they have for their new little one to arrive. A Natural Beauty
For this maternity session, we decided to spend time both indoors and outdoors. Jen looked stunning in the wardrobe. She pulled off every single outfit in such an elegant and beautiful way! Ryan was very complimentary of his wife, looking handsome next to her and her baby bump. One of my favorite parts of the session was the blue dress Jen wore, with Ryan in a blue shirt. They looked amazing together, and I loved the way he held her so gently. It was a romantic part of the session for sure! I also loved the white sheer dress she had on. The lighting and shading really brought out her beautiful preggo body, and it was so sweet to see her and her husband together. Jen wore a pink flowy dress when we went outside, and it was flying in the wind right behind her. The movement of the dress and the wind paired well together, and it turned out to be a lovely photo!
All in all, I had a splendid day with Jen and Ryan. After been together for 12 years, their resiliency has shown that they would do anything for one another. It’s relationships like these that are the best suited for a new baby. They have been through many amazing years together, and have the journey of a lifetime with their new baby boy.
