Lori is a wonderful mama who is expecting a precious baby girl any day now. I capture photos for people quite a bit, but this particular session was different than the others. Something about this family made me feel like I had already known them for years. Lori and her husband, Eric, were two of the most kind and beautiful souls I have come across. We anticipated bad weather, so originally, we planned an in studio session. When the rain finally stopped, we were able to step outside and have a beautiful session in the park near my studio. I love family sessions, because it is so sweet to see parents and their children interact and love on each other. These sessions definitely pull on my heart strings!
An Excited Big Sister
Lori and Eric had their other daughter, Liv, along with them, and she was seriously the cutest! Liv is 12 months old, and will surely be a wonderful big sister. She was hilariously suspicious from the beginning of the session, but I provided a box full of toys for her. She loved the toys I shared, and we immediately became best friends!
I provided matching outfits for mom and daughter. One of my favorite moments was when the two of them wore red ruffles. So cute! Lori is truly beautiful in every sense of the word, and it was impossible to get a bad shot. Every dress she wore looked stunning, and flattered her new baby curve. Eric looked great as well. The love he has for his wife and his daughter is so sweet. You can definitely tell that they are his whole world.
This was easily one of my favorite family sessions. Lori, Eric, and Liv are three of the most amazing people I have ever met. Not only do I love my job, but I love being able to meet and bond with some of the most amazing clients ever. I'm so thankful every day for people like Lori, Eric and Liv.
