I always love getting the opportunity to work with families more than once as a First Birthday Photographer in Tysons Corner, especially a family as sweet as this one! I did Oksana’s maternity session, and I remember her being so excited for her baby boy to come join the family. I then had the pleasure of doing the newborn session with baby Yaroslay, and I just can’t get over that he is already a one year old! I always make sure that I capture everything that babies learn in the first year by displaying it in every image. Yaroslay has learned how to sit up on his own, wave, and giggle for the camera since he was just a baby! They picked out the cutest outfits for this handsome man. My favorite has to be the little suspenders and pilot hat for the airplane images! His cute little curls were peeking through!
Mom and dad requested a very playful theme full of toys because they wanted to make it all about him now being a toddler! His favorite toys are teddy bears, the guitar, airplanes, rocking horses, and of course toy trucks! Even though he had so much fun playing by himself, his eyes lit up when mom and dad joined in by laying on the floor with him. This is when the magic truly began! I loved seeing all of them interact with one another. They were all so full of laughter and love!
