This summer mini session was double the fun with these twins! Nastya and Leo are 6 years old, and they have 2 older brothers. Mom, Lilia, is from Russia, but they are now living in Oakton, VA. I know that that mom really enjoyed watching these two grow up together, but it’s going by way too fast! I know it was super important for her to capture these milestones to remember forever. It was so heartwarming to watch them interact with one another, and their bond is undeniable! I can tell that Leo is already so protective over his sister, and they just love each other so much! Summer Sibling Fun
We really wanted to embrace the summertime with this session, so I took them to my favorite place – McLean Central Park! This park has beautiful greenery, a small pond, and a fun bridge that made for the perfect backdrop. I knew that this place would be a great fit for this family and their personality. Lilia picked out corresponding outfits for the two of them that still showed off their individuality. I loved bringing in all of the fun props for this shoot. It was fun to see that Nastya was loving all of the girly details! I have to say that my favorite was the small blue polka dot chair. A customer favorite as well!
Mom’s only big request was that we get her daughter to smile! This was a much bigger challenge than I thought it would be. But luckily Leo came to the rescue! It took him tickling her to finally get a big smile. I wish this sweet girl would smile more because once she got to laughing we saw how beautiful her smile really is. She just lit up with joy! I think this is when she really started to have fun and got comfortable in front of the camera.
