Lifestyle Session | Adriana & Aarin

It was so good to see this sweet little family again! I got to meet them and photograph them for the first time last year when we did a maternity photo session for Priya Patel. I then was able to see them again when we shot a newborn session for her twins, Adriana and Aarin. And here they are again for a six month birthday session for her twins! We chose a lifestyle session at their home, so Adriana and Aarin felt right at home. While it took everyone a little bit to feel comfortable with a camera following them around, they looked like naturals. Adriana looked beautiful in the cutest pink princess gown, and Aarin looked dapper in his blue button up and slacks. Each of them wore precious birthday crowns that read “½” for their half birthday.

Mom and Dad really enjoyed having the session take place in their home. They even had specific locations picked out for where they wanted pictures to be taken. That was such a blessing for them to already have a vision. We, of course, took some pictures in the twins’ nursery. Mom wanted to get a picture of her reading to her two babies. She reads to them all the time, and it was such a special moment for her to be able to capture. When I asked what they normally do with Adriana and Aarin, they said they like to get on the floor and play with them. They loved when I suggested they do just that!

I just love so many pictures from this shoot! The one of all four of them laying down with Adriana on Mom’s chest and Aarin’s on Dad’s is the cutest! I can imagine this is the way they lay around and chat at night before it’s bedtime. Similarly, the one of them sitting on the couch together is such a quinnessential family photo.
