I am a mom myself, and I know how it feels to be spread thin, exhausted and constantly needed. A Beautiful Family Bond
This photogenic family came all the way from Port Republic, MD (80 miles from my studio!) to do a session with me. I am always so honored when people who reside remotely choose me as their family photographer!
Anam is not only a wife to Karim and mother to three handsome boys (Ethan—four, Aiden—three, and Jason—one), but she is also expecting a sweet baby girl in the very near future. This momma has her hands full for sure! She wanted to do a maternity session and also get some updated family portraits of her beautiful family. They chose to do an outdoor session, which I always love for maternity shoots. I offer all of my moms-to-be a wide selection of maternity gowns and ask them to pick a couple that they feel glamorous in. All of them look striking against natural greenery. They chose the perfect season for this shoot—white blooms filled several of the trees providing some beautiful contrast to the bare trees around that had yet to blossom. Anam laid out upon a bed of vibrant green grass with her pink gown flowing all around her, perfectly highlighting her growing bump—her mom glow was stunning, and she looked like she belonged in a maternity magazine!
Karim and their three boys looked so handsome in the family portraits! You can easily tell that love abounds in this family and that the boys adore their momma! I have no doubt that they will be the best big brothers when their baby sister arrives. They could not contain their excitement about her near arrival!
This young, growing family has so much to look forward to. I know that their bonds will only strengthen with time as they adventure through life together!
