Welcome to the world, Loundon! This precious baby is now 3 months old, and her mother and father brought her in for a newborn photo session that took place in our studio. I first met Mom and Dad when we shot Ingrid’s maternity session. Loundon is their first born child, and they are so excited to be parents. For Mom’s maternity shots, she was the image of the word beauty. Her pregnancy glow was beautiful, and she looked absolutely radiant in her maternity gowns. She wanted some inside and some outside, so we were blessed with good weather and got a little of both. Her red gown looked beautiful flowing in the wind! While in the studio, we got some great photos of Mom and Dad together showing their love and affection for one another.

After the maternity shots wrapped up, all we had to do was wait until it was time for the newborn session. Since it was close to the holidays, Mom and Dad really wanted a photo that would work well for a holiday card. They were so pleased with how the Joy to the Wold picture turned out. It is such a cute set, and Baby Loundon looks so precious sleeping in the “J.” The Goodnight Moon was a really nice set as well. The stars and lace blanket are such whimsical details that really make the pictures. Loundon was a perfect little sleeper the whole time too!

While cute and seasonal sets are fun, simple and classic sets are always good to use as well. Having a good mix of those make a perfect session, just like this one.
