This handsome little guy came to my studio at just 18 days old. He was a petite 5 lbs 6 oz and 18.5 inches at birth. Maximus Mitchell was one of the sweetest newborns I have ever seen. Of course, like most newborns, he slept soundly through his very first photoshoot. Every once in a while, he gave us an adorable little face scrunch or eyebrow wrinkle, and he seemed to love snuggling into all of the swaddling blankets we place him in.
about sweet Max
Max and his parents contacted me on a referral. I did newborn session a month ago for Mitch’s sister’s baby, then they recommended me for Max’s photoshoot. I love when my clients come to my studio after referrals because they have usually already seen my photos – they understand my style and what kinds of photos they will get. Plus, they have talked to the one who referred them and have a pretty good idea of what to expect during and after the session. It reassures me that they chose me based on prior knowledge, research, and experience.
Max’s parents are so sweet and have an inside joke of calling each other pandas. They even have big collection of pandas at home, so we thought it would be cute to incorporate the theme into Max’s newborn session. We used several panda hats and settings for Max as well as a koala and dragonfly. He looked so cute with all of the animal themes. As cute as they were, I also wanted to make sure that Miranda and Mitch had a few simple, classic shots as well that portrayed his precious features. I love the closeup image of his sweet face.
Max’s dad, Mitch, is a big fan of Redskin football team, so he brought redskin paraphernalia to my studio. He looked pretty cute snoozing away in the vintage suitcase filled with football fan gear.
Max’s parents were such a pleasure to work with! I love hearing all of their ideas, and they were so easy going and attentive throughout the shoot. I enjoyed every minute of Max’s session.
