Are you ready for cuteness overload? Princess Nadya turned 4 this year, and ever since her very first newborn session, we have made birthday photoshoots an annual tradition. At this point, Nadya knows exactly what to expect, and she shows off her best moves and poses in front of the lens. I never think it’s possible, but each year they are even more adorable. I always have so much fun with this loving and creative family.
Nadya’s mum is a professional ballerina – always so gorgeous – and this year, she and Nadya’s dad decided to join in on the fun. I was so excited that they wanted to update their family portraits. Holiday-Themed Family Portraits
For the first part of the session, the ladies dressed in flowing red gowns. Meanwhile, Dad looked so handsome in his sharp suit. They posed in front of a cozy Christmas scene of warm fireplace, stockings, and an ornamented tree. This sweet family of three looked so beautiful – perfect to go front and center on a holiday card.
Birthday Girl Portraits
Before the grand finale, Mum and Dad wanted a few classic portraits of their sweet girl. She wore a pretty white lace dress to go with a soft, neutral backdrop. Nadya enjoyed wearing the simple bohemian headband, and she looked so much older posing there like a big kid! I can’t believe she’s no longer a baby. She had so much to say – as most four-year-old’s do – and I enjoyed every minute of our conversation.
Disney-Themed Portraits
We saved the best for last. Photoshoots can get a little long for little ones, so we had a surprise for Nadya at the end. What little girl doesn’t love Minnie Mouse, Cinderella, and Sleeping Beauty? She wore the cutest pigtail buns as she posed with Minnie and looked so lovely as Cinderella. We brought the story to life with pastel pink and purple pumpkin carriage and majestic castle painted across the backdrop. I thought this would be Nadya’s favorite…until she completely flipped the script and transformed into Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty!! This little cutie rocked the wicked horns and purple tutu – but it’s easy to see that she only has a sweet-hearted spirit. Are you searching for Baby Photographer DC?
