Harper’s Newborn Session

When Caitlin booked a newborn session for her little girl, Harper, I knew it was a match made in heaven. I couldn’t wait to show Caitlin the adorable new headbands we could use for Harper’s shoot. She came to my studio at just seven days old, easily fitting in the palms of my hands. At birth, she weighed 6 pound 3 ounces, and measured 20.5 inches long. She was such a petite little beauty! Like most newborns, she was sound asleep for the majority of her very first photo shoot. I really liked the color combinations in this collection: bluish gray and pink, natural green, teal and bright pink, and of course plenty of soft neutrals to highlight her newborn features. Just as I thought, the headbands were the perfect accent for the portraits-just the added touch I was looking for. My two favorite images are the sunflower set and the large pink floral wreath. Harper looked so angelic as the centerpiece among the bright-colored flowers. They would be perfect for a nursery display or birth announcements.

Harper was the perfect little model, and I truly had an amazing time capturing all the tiny details that make her who she is.
