Anastasiya and Masha's Mommy and Me Sesssion
I recently did a photo session for my beautiful client Anastasiya and her adorable daughter Masha. It was a Christmas session complete with decked out trees and lights and presents. We did a maternity session with Anastasiya when she was pregnant with Masha and I always love seeing families as they grow and change over the years. It's hard to believe Masha is already one year old! She has grown into such a pretty little lady, just like her mommy.
Even her serious faces are absolutely precious, and she was quite the model in front of the camera. We provided matching dresses for Anastasiya and Masha and they rocked every single look! Anastasiya wore a silk red gown while Masha donned a fluffy red tutu in front of the Christmas tree. They looked like they belonged on a postcard- picture perfect! I loved Masha and her mommy in the light blue where they posed in front of the Christmas tree and mantle, and in a velvet armchair beside the winterized tree accented with white and gold.
Sweet Snuggles
Anastasiya then put on a simple white dress while Masha wore a sweet dress with red watercolor flowers on the skirt and a solid red bodice. They snuggled up on a luxurious white sofa with matching heart melting smiles. Their attire, along with the Christmas decor, transformed the space into a winter wonderland. I loved all the holiday set ups, but I equally loved when Anastasiya put on a pair of black pants with a sheer black top, and outfitted sweet Masha in a big black tutu. They sat down to relax and play, and I was able to capture some really sweet moments!
They admired the outside views through the windows, played patty cake, and snuggled in close for some hugs and kisses. That warmth and affection truly embody the spirit of the holiday season, and what makes it so incredibly special. The chill in the air, the lights and trees, Santa and all the songs of the season- they all add a special magic to this time of year.
