This sweet baby is all girl, and I’m loving it! Adorable little Milana came to my studio when she was just one short week old with her mama, Vasilina. They are two of the most beautiful ladies I have ever seen, and I am thrilled that I had the opportunity to work with them. Mom is super girly and wanted to reflect that in Milana’s newborn session. Adorable Sweet Angel
We started our session together placing Milana on a bed of soft pink blankets and made a composite image of her hanging in a floral wreath. We use these composites to achieve our desired creative outcome, without placing the baby at any risk. We then moved our little model to the center of a giant peony, portraying her as the precious sleepy angel she is. Isn’t she gorgeous!?
I also love incorporating our moon rocker in to newborn sessions. It always reminds me of the wonderlands they drift off into as they peacefully slumber. We were fortunate enough to capture a little grin from Milana. So sweet! Speaking of fortune, we were even able to steal a peek at her gorgeous eyes during one transition. When it comes to newborns, their eyes aren’t open often and typically not for long, so I was sure to sneak a shot as quickly as I could.
She was such an angel baby. Sleeping peacefully as we transitioned her from pose to pose. I couldn’t have asked for a better model! Towards the end of the session, we incorporated mom and dad into a few of the shots. I always like to offer this so that my clients will forever have a snapshot of their first days as a family. The dreamy look in Vasilina’s eyes as she holds her new baby girl brings me such joy and satisfaction as a newborn photographer.
