Meet sweet baby girl, Siya. I just can’t get enough of newborn sessions because they are full of excitement, emotions, and CUTENESS! I fell in love this little Siya the second that mom and big brother brought her in to see me. She is just 18 days old, which is prime time for newborn sessions. Precious Pastels
Mom, Puja, requested pastel colors and I loved that idea because they looked beautiful up again Siya’s skin tone. I incorporated flowers, teddy bears, and elements of nature for a soft and girly touch. I made sure to capture every precious detail from her full head of dark hair, perfect wrinkles, and little toes! I knew that these details are what would make the difference for these new parents when looking back on these priceless memories.
Keeping Me on My Toes
It is always the element of surprise when doing newborn sessions that keeps me on my toes because you never know what mood they will be in. Luckily, Siya was very sleepy, and she barely made a peep as I moved her around from pose to pose. For the most part, I kept all of the attention on baby girl, but I had to bring big brother in for some individual images as well. He was just a ball of energy, and we loved watching him get excited over his little sister! Once I brought in mom, dad, and big brother the magic truly began. You could just feel the love overflow in the room, and it was heartwarming to watch. You could tell that they had their entire world right in that room! My favorite images were when all four of them were close together because it was their first family portrait.
