Graham was just 7 days old at the time of this session. I love love love working with newborns, and this little one was no exception! He is such a sweet baby boy, and I had a wonderful time capturing some of his very first moments with his family. The greatest thing about being a newborn photographer is seeing the love and care between mommy's and their babies. It brings me back to when my children were born. The Joys of a Boy
This precious boy was born at 7 pounds, 11 ounces, and 21 inches long! He’s as cute as can be, and I loved capturing every little feature. One of my favorite parts of being a photographer is the creative side I am able to use. Using props and creating a backdrop is so much fun for me, and I found that many families love the whimsical themes I have in my studio! Graham was the perfect little client for this, because he was so cooperative nearly the entire time. I really loved the flower display we used, as well as the tree. It was so sweet seeing him surrounded by the natural elements of nature, and fun to see him in such a cute environment! When he was sound asleep, we snuggled him up to a teddy bear. So stinkin’ sweet!
Out of all the photos we took of sweet Graham, my absolute favorites are the ones of him with his mommy. The way she held her son in her arms was so inspiring. I don’t think there’s anything stronger than a mommy's love. They looked precious as they snuggled together. It’s moments like these that go by way too fast. We often forget these small memories after many years, and what a great way to hold on to them by having them documented by a photographer! I am glad these two will have these photos to cherish for a lifetime.
Before the session, Shannon was a little worried about the red skin color, as well as baby acne on Graham’s face. We all know that this is very common in newborns, and it is definitely not something that should add stress to our lives!
