How precious is this sweet little thing! I am so excited to share this session with you all. Little Shanaya was only 7 short days old when she came to visit my newborn studio. Mom and dad, Gunian and Vishal love my work so much that they drove over an hour and a half to make their way to my studio. That’s dedication! I am so grateful that they entrusted me with this precious task. What a wonderful compliment it was to have them appreciate my work so much. Sweet Little Shanaya
We started this session with a feminine approach. I placed little Shanaya in an oversized rose, showing off how beautiful and delicate she truly is. We worked with pink and blush tones, perfectly accentuating her skin tone and gorgeous dark hair. Seeing as it’s winter and I like to send my clients home with the perfect image for any season, we next moved into a winter wonderland set up. Nestled in an adorable little burlap tent, she slept the day away through a flurry of snow-flakes.
She was oh-so adorable curled up on a lily-pad, with a sweet wreath of greenery placed on her dark hair. Adorable! My favorite shot from this session, however, was of Shanaya as a nesting doll, peacefully sleeping the day away. She was such an angel baby as we transitioned from pose to pose, never making a fuss. In other words, a newborn photographer’s dream! She even woke up at one point and let us stare into those deep brown gorgeous eyes. How could she possibly get any cuter!?
Towards the end of the session, we brought mom and dad in to celebrate the arrival of their little one. Mom, in a gorgeous yellow dress, dad, in a deep red sweater. Such a beautiful family! I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for these three. If their time together at our session is any indicator, I have a feeling it’ll be filled with beauty and fun!
