Working with Lydia and her family was a true fairytale. Just 8 days old, this precious girl was such a light in the room. Everyone’s face lit up as we posed her in the most adorable positions. She is definitely a dream come true for her parents, and I am so honored to have worked alongside them to make Lydia’s newborn session as perfect as can be. What a sweet family they are! Lovely Little Lydia
Emily, Lydia’s mom serves in the military with her husband. This is the third military family I had this week. Looks like I will become a military family photographer soon! It is such a wonderful experience working with those who serve our country. The honor, dedication, and hard work is something that I admire deeply, and am so proud to provide a service for the military families in my area! This family is truly selfless, wanting only the best for their country and their baby girl. Props to them!
Lydia’s session was a fairytale wonderland. We used many props to surround this sweet girl in a whimsical and fun environment, as well as keeping it comfy for her as she slept sweetly. She was so sweet as we changed her wardrobe and props around, sleeping through most of it. We surrounded her in pink, and even had a butterfly on her back! One of my favorites was her snuggled up in a tulip. She is such a beautiful little flower! I also loved the photos of her surrounded by greenery in a wooden basket. Above all, I loved the photos of little Lydia laying on the military uniform. It is such an important part of her family, and I’m so glad we incorporated this into the session.
Mom, Dad and Their Little Angel
Not only did we take photos of just Lydia, but mom and dad got in the photos as well. I was inspired by Emily’s love as she lied next to her daughter. These two are so in love, and there is no stronger bond than a mother and her daughter. I especially loved the photo of mom, dad, and Lydia together. What a stunning family!
All in all, we had a great day together. This family deserves the world, and I know that they are going to have many more amazing memories together.
