A Perfect Match
Mom requested a black, white, and grey themed session to go along with the color of his nursey. I always think it is cute when parents coordinate the session with the nursery because these images will now match perfectly in his room. I think that these would looked perfect if turned into a canvas, framed, or even collaged onto a wall in the nursery.
When I first sat Jace down, he just stared into my camera with curiosity! They are curious about everything at this age, so it came to no surprise. He just looked at me with those big blue eyes, and the camera was loving every second of him, but then again, so were we! Mom and I couldn’t stop ooing and awing over every little thing he did. I wanted to make sure that I captured everything he has learned in his first year of life, including sitting up all on his own, smiling for the camera, and of course . . . eating cake! He didn’t know what t to think of this sugary treat at first, but it didn’t take him long to figure out that he had it all to himself. We couldn’t stop laughing at him digging right in!

I loved being able to celebrate this young man’s first birthday with such a sweet family. This is one for the books for sure. It was a struggle to get all of this icing off of him, but well worth having these fun images to look back at in the future.
