The studio

Nataly Danilova Photography studio is located in Northern VA. It is very easily reached (only 15 miles from Washington, DC on 66 route).

 

Our incredible 1500+sq. ft studio has two separate large spaces. Studio #1 features large french windows with beautiful natural soft light, elegant decorated stucco walls, luxurious vintage furniture, hand painted backdrops. It is ideal for family, portrait and maternity sessions.

 

Our spacious studio allows us to have a private separate room for newborn sessions. Studio #2 that we use for newborn photography is fully equipped with everything new parents might need: changing table, bottle warmer, diapers&wipes, snacks, drinks and coffee and comfortable coaches.

 

We have incredible collection of designer dresses, outfits, backdrops, wraps, hats, headbands, blankets, flower bonnet and props.

Nataly Danilova Photography is owned and operated by award winning photographer Nataly Danilova, who specializes in capturing maternity, baby and family portraiture. She started her path in photography in 2004, after the arrival of her twin-boys—who were quickly followed by a daughter and another son. She has built a successful photography business with over 5000 clients. They continue to return year after year, with new arrivals and growing families. In 2015 she opened biggest in Virginia newborn studio in Northern Virginia, where we continue to photograph families and luxury service to her clients.

Nataly was amazing! Our newborn photos were perfect and we are so in love. When we got to her studio she was very professional. She handled our daughter with ease and she did not wake up and fuss once. I loved all the sets and props that were set up and was even provided with an outfit to wear for the family photo. Her rates are on the expensive side but it was well worth it for these quality photos!

Our maternity photo shoot went extremely well! I was very impressed with the appearance of Nataly's studio, stage set up, and wardrobe selections. It was a great convenience that she had everything there and you select your preferred outfits of choice. I greatly appreciated her patience, professionalism, and direction in terms of posing and executing an awesome and beautiful photo! I would definitely use her again and plan on using her for our newborn photos. We were pleased with all of our photos and her turnover time was great! Initially we had to reschedule due to her having a family emergency (things happen), but she was very professional and efficient in securing a new date ASAP that was compatible with my schedule. Our photo shoot was beyond my expectations! Nataly was so professional and directive, so I knew the photos were going to be beautiful. She has a variety of gowns to choose from and asked me to send images of photo ideas I had in mind for the shoot. She accommodated all of the looks I requested and suggested additional ones that were AMAZING! I felt comfortable during the entire shoot and my husband enjoyed the experience as well—we were both blown away by the beauty of her photos. We are looking forward to booking future photo shoots with her. I highly recommend her and if you have any hesitations-don’t! Nataly was amazing!!! I happened to find her while browsing on Instagram. We booked a maternity session with her, and I can’t imagine booking with anyone better. Her studio was the perfect set up and she provided everything that we needed including the outfits, props, etc. She was super friendly and professional. She instructed us on how to do the best poses, was responsive, patient, and got our final edited photos back very quickly. We are so in love with the finished product! Nataly was an absolute pleasure to work with! She really has an eye and the creativity to capture a beautiful photo and turn it into pure art; not-to-mention there’s no need to find gowns as she supplies them. I showed up, got my makeup and hair done and she took it from there. She gave me all the direction I needed and even suggested an outfit that wasnt a part of the original plan! I booked a newborn photoshoot, and Nataly exceeded all expectations. I was worried we wouldn’t get any good shots since my newborn was a bit fussy that day. Nataly was patient with my daughter and took her time making sure she was comfortable every step of the way. We had a wonderful experience for our new born baby shoot. This was an extremely professional shoot. For first time parents who were just 6 days post new arrival we arrived very sleep deprived and a little nervous what if baby cries and it just becomes a nightmare! We can’t believe how chilled the atmosphere was & we were able to completely relax & even have a moment to ourselves. Nataly is a master at dressing, undressing & her attention to detail to get baby in the correct poses while he slept was amazing! She took fantastic pictures that are priceless & we will treasure forever. For us it was just easy & slick throughout the shoot & with communications before & after. We are very pleased!

Update (since it’s not letting me leave a second review): had our newborn photos done and I’m in love them with them. She was amazing! She took him, fed and changed him and then worked her magic. For a tired momma recovering from a C section, I couldn’t have asked for better service. Highly recommend her!Amazing photographer who makes you feel super comfortable. I hate photos and am not very photogenic but they turned out amazing. Highly recommend her and plan to use her again for newborn photos.

Nataly captured our daughter when she was just 8 days old. Ther is such a welcoming environment in her studio. It was clear that Nataly had put a lot of thought into every detail. Everything from the equipment to the props told us that we were in the right place with our little one. Nataly was meticulous in capturing every detail of our little girl - small hands and feet, tiniest features using wide range of props and backdrops. She didn't miss a thing. Her creativity and ability to envision a wide array of shots was incredible. We couldn't have been more thrilled with the images we received. There's one word that describes Nataly and her work and that is WOW!After giving birth to my second child I really wanted some beautiful newborn photos taken to be able to capture how precious & tiny he was. After seeing how amazing the photos Nataly took of a friends new baby were, I decided to contact her to take some photos for us too.I wanted photos of my son with his big sister. Nataly was so patient & had no issue having to wait while I fed my son mid shoot and used the time to take some photos of my daughter. Nataly has magic hands, both for handling my twins and taking mind-blowing pictures. As a twin parent, it’s a hard task to keep your babies calm, especially both at the same time. During our session the babies spent 3 hours in peace resulting in some amazing pictures. Her studio is clean, comfortable and equipped with an exhaustive and exquisite collection of baby outfits and props. She is really wonderful to work with! 5 stars!!

She definitely knows what she’s doing! Her work is simply beautiful and her expertise exudes in every photo! My husband and I were very comfortable with her studio as she was very diligent about cleanliness and wore a mask the entire time. She did an amazing job on my daughter's newborn photo session. I loved the detailed shots she captured of my little one's features, like her eyelashes, nose, and tiny feet. Apple orchards, snowy forest - my princess was transported into all kinds of whimsical backgrounds during her newborn photo session. I really like the veriety of choices Nataly offers. The best review I can offer is that we first had Christmas session with her in 2017, and we've returned to her every year since. This year wasn't an exception!

I had a great experience with Nataly a couple of weeks ago. The warmth with which I was welcomed was great. The best part is the friendly environment that made my son feel comfortable and happy. Despite getting in contact with Nataly towards the end of my pregnancy, she organized my newborn session so quickly. At start, we were little skeptical about how our baby would react. I am sure any parent would be…and the moment we entered the studio the vibes were so positive for the baby. It was so clean and cozy. Nataly prepared so many decorations and props for us. I was impressed of how many props for newborns she has. From beginning to end she put the baby at so much ease that we were sure our baby was in safe hands. She worked like a baby whisperer. The experience and professionalism shines through the photos. It was my first official photoshoot and I was a little nervous -I am not too comfortable in front of the camera- but the session went extremely smoothly. EXCELLENT experience. Nataly was very easy to work with. She responded quickly to my many emails filled with questions. She was always polite (even when my questions were redundant and the answers could be found on her website). Scheduling an appointment was also effortless and she worked with me and my family to find the perfect date.The actual photo session was great. I scheduled maternity pictures which included pictures with my husband and 2 year old. My 2 year old was behaving like a typical toddler and Nataly was great at directing him and was very patient. All the maternity dress options were great and I was able to find a dress that suited me. In summary, I had a wonderful experience and I am very happy with the outcome.

Nataly was absolutely incredible to work with. As soon as I reached out to her she responded with answers to all of my questions. The variety of different look she was able to provide for us was amazing. I really appreciated that she had all the dresses and silks on hand so I didn’t have to spend any money or stress for that matter looking for something to wear. Nataly was great to work with. She returned emails and calls very quickly, was professional, kind, patient and genuine. She did my maternity photos and newborn photos. She was very good at posing me and my husband and catching the best angles for us.By the time we got to our newborn session we were exhausted! She made sure we were as at ease as possible and took care of everything including diaper changes. She handled our baby with care and had several tricks to keep her calm which we actually learned from (since she is a mother herself).The photos are fantastic! High quality, great staging, and the edits are outstanding.We enjoyed working with Nataly and would choose her again in a heart beat.

Nataly is amazing! My wife is a first time mom and Nataly did an amazing job capturing her maternity photos. She was very professional and patient, and made us feel very comfortable during the shoot. You can tell she has been doing this for many years as she knew all the best angles and poses. She has several outfits and props to choose from, so you don't have to stress over buying things yourself. She is also very responsive to emails. The edited photos also came back much faster than estimated, and they were absolutely beautiful. Thank you again!

She did our daughter’s smash cake photos and she was excellent. She listened to any ideas and very responsive. Her studio is great. So many outfits and backdrops. She went out of her way to get the backdrop I wanted. She was very professional. We loved our photos and will definitely use her again. Also, she got our photos back to use very quickly.

My family LOVES Nataly and the work she does! In 2018 she photographed my first son and we could not have been happier with her professionalism. She captured so many wonderful moments and memories that day for us with absolutely stunning pictures. I came across this lovely business on Instagram and so glad that I did! from the beginning of inquiry she was extremely responsive to any and all my concerns to proceed with booking which was a easy process as well. Plenty of prep time until the big shoot and was given plenty choices and ideas/themes to pick from. The day of the shoot was IMMACULATE and she made it feel like an at ease environment and comfortable especially doing nude maternity :) . Made my family feel welcomed as well. It was fun and the studio was so beautiful. I got my prints back today and they are breath taking !!! Would not recommend going any place else and I personally would choose her again in the future for professional photos of any type. Thank you so much again ! It was a pleasure

There's no question that Nataly is among the best newborn photographers in the area. Her photos are absolutely stunning and high quality. Nataly is a very warm person who made us feel at home in her studio. We were able to take a few family photos, and our family is still talking about how much fun we had at the photo session. Because of Covid19, I was nervous to expose my newborn to other people. However, after discussing my concerns with Nataly, I was impressed with how much care she took to ensure safety and cleanliness. She sanitized the studio and clothes before we arrived, wore masks and gloves the entire session, and had plenty of sanitizer and masks available for us. I would highly recommend Nataly!

Nataly was amazing for our newborn shoot. COVID ruined the plans for my maternity shoot, but I was determined to work with her to have newborn photos. I was amazed at her professionalism and the care she took to maintain safety and take precaution for COVID. The photos were absolutely stunning and we can't wait to blow them up and decorate our home to cherish for years!Not only was she professional, but she had a very warm personality and taught me a lot of things as a new mom (I was amazed at her ability to instantly put my baby to sleep for the sessions and I STILL apply her tips at home!)We will definitely be working with her again and recommending her to our friends. Nataly’s photography expertise is exceptional and highly recommended, especially those with little ones whose attention spans don’t lend to a long drawn out photo session. As soon as I found out we were having a girl, I knew I wanted to secure Nataly as our newborn photographer. She is amazing with children and extremely efficient. Nataly was able to capture so many looks within a short timeframe—this includes multiple wardrobe and prop changes, and two feedings. Her turnaround time for delivering proofs is impeccable as well. I’ve used several photographers in the past and it has taken weeks to simply see proofs and then you have to wait for editing. This was not the case with Nataly—she sent proofs the same night and provided edited versions within a week. We were impressed by her so much that we secured a mini holiday package. Again, our experience was five stars again. In short, I highly recommend Nataly. She’s beyond professional, efficient and delivers a superior product.

Nataly is amazing to work with, she is the baby and kid whisperer for sure. I felt very comfortable around her and so did my daughter. The babies love her, it is very clear she is an amazing mother who knows how to soothe children. Her outfit selection and studio are wonderful, she takes the most beautiful pictures too. Nataly is very creative, give her an idea or theme and she will compliment yours with some suggestions. It is easy to see why she wins all the awards in Northern Virginia, the picture quality is great and she turns around the edited albums fast. First we were amazed by her photo studio. She probably has biggest studio in DC. She has separate rooms for maternity session, family and baby. Nataly is very experienced photographer. We did maternity session and baby session with her . We are not models and it was our first session, but Nataly made us felt like a stars. We never felt awkward. It is so easy to work with her. Plus she is really baby whisper. She is absolutely amazing with kids. Kids love her.We are so happy with our photos. Highly recommended!

The entire experience provided by Nataly will forever be a precious element of my husband's and my prenatal chapter. Nataly is the best maternity photographer you could wish for to capture the very special time of your life. She did my maternity session and it was amazing! She made me and my family feel very comfortable during the photo session as well as she was very patient and kind with my 4-year old and 6-year old daughters. Her studio is beautiful and the collection of the dresses and accessories is going to blow your mind away :) Nataly spent almost twice as much time with us as it was originally stated just to make sure we would get the best pictures (especially with my daughters).
