Nataly’s story
A photographer, and a mother of four
Nataly was a professional swimmer in Russia and won several national competitions. After her swimming career, she worked as a model for a few years.
Photography became her passion when her twin boys were born. A daughter and another son followed, so she knows these first months from both sides of the camera.
She began photographing families in Moscow in 2004 and later opened her own studio there. In 2015 she moved to the United States and brought that experience to the Washington, DC area. More than 5,000 families have trusted her with their portraits.
Her style is elegant and full of colour: couture gowns, soft studio light and gentle, natural posing. Many families come back for every new baby and every milestone.

The studio is a private 1,500 sq ft space near Tysons Corner, Virginia, about 15 miles from downtown Washington, DC. It has a main room with ready-made sets for newborn, maternity and family sessions, a bright room with soft window light, studio lights with hand-painted backdrops, a make-up mirror and a calm waiting room for parents. For newborn sessions, a changing table, bottle warmer, diapers, wipes and drinks are always ready, together with designer dresses, outfits, wraps, headbands, blankets and props.
