Virginia Studio Guide for Expecting & New Families

Planning photos from Northern Virginia? Our private studio near Tysons Corner is an easy trip from Washington D.C., Maryland, Arlington, Alexandria, McLean, Tysons, Vienna, and Fairfax, with convenient garage parking, and a calm, private space. We provide a full studio wardrobe and simple prep so everything stays stress-free.

For maternity: Sessions are gentle and guided—clean posing, flattering light, and couture gowns sized for comfort. You’ll never wonder what to do; we walk you through every step so you feel relaxed and confident.

For newborns: The studio is warm and quiet, with safe posing, sanitized props, and room for parents and siblings to settle in. We work at your baby’s pace and keep the session unhurried.

What to bring: Neutral outfits for partners/siblings, a snack, and anything that helps you feel comfortable. We’ll handle gowns, drapes, wraps, and styling.

Timing: Many Northern Virginia families—Arlington, Alexandria, McLean, Tysons, Vienna—book maternity between 26–32 weeks (a little earlier for twins). Newborn sessions are typically scheduled within the first two weeks after birth, with flexibility built in.

After your session: You’ll receive a proof gallery to choose favorites. Selected images are retouched and can be finished as albums or wall art for your home.
