What to Expect When You're Expecting
As time has come full circle, these two close sisters are expecting little ones at the same time—what an amazing experience with double the happiness! Nozima already has two gorgeous daughters and is now expecting her third baby—a boy. Meanwhile, her sister Nafisa is expecting a baby girl. Both of the sisters looked like beautiful princesses from a fairytale with their flowing dresses that accentuated their growing bumps perfectly! We did the shoot in a wooded area. Vines climbed up the massive trees, and greenery grew all around. I love how the dark woody colors made the ladies’ colorful dresses pop even more. It truly looked like a dream.
I especially love maternity shoots that include the family. In this session, the husbands lovingly stood by their wives, excited (and maybe a little nervous, too) about what the future holds. When will these two tiny new additions make their appearances? Will the little prince and princess take more after Mom or Dad? What will their little personalities be like? This period of expectancy comes with so many questions and eagerness.
For Nozima and her husband, they made sure to include their two sweet daughters who looked just as excited to meet their new baby brother! And there were several double maternity photos of the two sisters as well as some with Nafisa and her nieces. But the most priceless pictures of all, I believe, were the ones of the two families with their mother. I can’t imagine that she would want to be anywhere else in the world than with her two expecting daughters and their families—an unforgettable opportunity!
I have no doubt in my mind that these photos will be cherished for a very long time. How amazing (and probably once-in-a-lifetime) to see three generations together with two more newborns on the way. This family will surely have many stories to tell about this time in their lives, and I know these two little ones will be showered with love when they get here.
