Christian and his family were such a joy to have in the studio. I often think back to when my children were born, and this sweet family had me reminiscing about those wonderful memories me and my husband shared together. A Whimsical Approach
When Nikki contacted me to photograph her newborn session, she laid her vision for the photos out there for me – she wanted to incorporate her and her husband’s military background, while also taking some whimsical photos of Christian. This was such a cute idea that I was all on board for! I love when families add personal details to the session. The cutest part was the military uniform for the baby. Nikki ordered one for the session, and it was so adorable. After, I started to collect military uniforms for babies. This was such a neat idea to me.
The session itself was a stress-free and comfy day for little Christian, and I was loving every minute spent with him. My top priority is to make sure my newborn clients are given a safe and sanitary environment, as well as comfortable. In order to do this, I invested a lot of time into making my studio perfect for these sweet babies! Christian was super cuddly and sleepy the whole time. He didn’t seem bothered by the wardrobe and prop changes in the slightest. He was such an easy baby to work with. He is precious as can be!
Sweetly Swaddled
We took a few photos of the little guy in his uniform, but also took more traditional photos of him swaddled up. I loved the photos of him with the teddy bear. It was bigger than him! Swoon! We also took some photos of Christian with a stork, with the moon and stars, and a cute little stump. He was so cute as he yawned big and wide. I just love baby yawns! One of my favorite photos we took was with mommy and daddy’s wedding bands around his toes. So cute. Are you searching for Family Photographer DC?
