Meet sweet baby girl, Emilia! For most of my newborn sessions, I gather up what I think will fit the family’s personality best and then consult with the parents. But for this one, Momma had things all planned out! Danamarie is the new mommy, and she requested that we use religious poses, angel wings, and a cute Wizard of Oz set up. She was very prepared and new the exact look that she wanted for her little angel. We discussed every detail and specific props for her session in order to achieve her vision. Angel Baby Emilia
We started the session off with putting baby Emilia in her first outfit (which happens to be my personal favorite)...the angel wings and silvered leaf headband! She truly looked like a little angel as she was peacefully and sleepily resting on her tummy. Mommy says that she loves laying on her tummy.
The perfect transition for this set up was the religious pose where I placed her atop mom’s gorgeous and classic bible. She didn’t even make a peep when I moved her, in other words, a photographers dream! She was a doll to pose. The pearl bracelet that we placed around her finger with the silver cross at the end was the perfect and idyllic detail that was needed during this set up. It couldn’t have been more perfect for this family.
Sweetly Sleepy
This sleepy girl finally started to wake up once I put her on her back. I was able to capture some amazing images of her beautiful eyes. It’s as if she were just loving the camera, and she didn’t get cranky. Not even once! She looked like a little princess in her crown and pearls, and just adorable by her little red sparkling shoes for the Wizard of Oz set up. I made sure that I captured every detail of her. From her little toes all the way up to those big cheeks! It was such an honor to be able to give this new mommy the results that she wanted and to create memories for her to look back on for years to come.
