Meet Hudson James Monsif! At birth, he was 7 lbs. 12 ounces and 20 inches long. Now, he is a healthy and thriving 2 month old. We recently did a newborn photoshoot with Hudson. Mom and Dad wanted to have a newborn session done as they did two years ago with his brother named Graham. What a pleasure it is to meet new family members of my clients. Mom and Dad absolutely loved the infant sets I had in my studio. I love the one of Hudson in the crocheted puppy dog hat and booty bumper. Oh my goodness, he looks absolutely precious! However, we were wanting to get quite a few different sets, so it was onto another one. Thank goodness Hudson was such a good sleeper! He slept through the whole session. Speaking of sleeping, all of the sleeping hats are oh so cute on him! I love how whimsical and yet masculine the shot of him sleeping in the wooden bucket with lavender turned out. But hands down, my favorite is the picture of him sleeping in his jungle tree. What a wonderful fairytale!

While Hudson’s newborn pictures were the focus of the session, Mom and Dad also wanted to get some family portraits done as well. When doing family portraits, it is so important to choose a classic wardrobe in order for the photographs to stand the test of time. Obviously, more family portraits will come, especially if your family continues to grow; however, everyone likes to look back on photos and not gasp at the wardrobe and hairstyle choices.
