Momma had warned me that Thea is a very sensitive baby, and that she was concerned that the session would not go well because she is known to be a crier. I reassured her that as a Washington D.C. Newborn Photographer, I have many tricks up my sleeves from working with newborns, and I will do everything that I can to make sure the sessions runs smoothly. As soon as they arrived, I changed Thea’s outfit, and she started to cry! I decided that it would be best if I swaddled her and it made a world of difference. For the theme of this session, momma wanted her to have light girly colors and tons of flowers. This gave the images an enchanted feeling that turned out beautiful. I believe that this was the perfect fit for this family because it complimented her features perfectly. This sweet girl has the most beautiful skin tone, big lips, and little wrinkles! I wanted to capture each and every detail of her because these babies just grow up so quickly. I know that when the family looks back on these images, they will be happy to see how little she was when she was first born.
